HGS CATTLE GROWER PELLETS

HGS Cattle Grower pellets are formulated for calves from 3-10 months of age, to support ongoing growth and optimal feed conversion.  HGS Cattle Grower pellets are formulated using quality starch and true protein sources, designed to aid in achieving desired growth rates in your feed lot, or to supplement animals on pasture.  HGS Cattle Grower pellets are suitable for feedlots or containment feeding, when fed in conjunction with ad lib fibre.

HGS Cattle Grower contains a buffer to aid in reducing the risk of acidosis and maintaining feed conversion efficiency. As HGS is a medication free mill, active Yeast is included to assist in fibre digestion and feed conversion efficiency, as well as aiding in overall animal health.
WHAT MAKES OUR PELLETS DIFFERENT?
Our business is quite unique in being part of the human food chain. This gives us access to some valuable and scare raw materials that bring value to our formulated diets.

Harwood pellets are formulated from a unique blend of ingredients for maximum palatability, optimum digestibility, and performance. The unique combination of cooked and uncooked cereal grains, sugars and fats, give the pellets a balanced supply of energy. Similarly, protein is supplied from a range of sources, providing degradable and bypass protein to meet requirement. This combined with a quality vitamin and mineral premixes, allows us to tailor pellets to a variety of livestock classes.

Make sure all livestock have had access to fibre before introducing pellets to the diet gradually; this will assisting in the transition onto concentrate.

Introduce the concentrate over a 14-21 day period, to a recommended maximum of 1.5kg of concentrate per 100kg liveweight for cattle.
