Harwood Grains and Stockfeeds

About Us

The Story of Harwood Grains & Stockfeeds

For over 25 years, Harwood Grains and Stockfeeds has specialised in the production of high-quality stockfeed pellets and products based around manufacturing oats. Founded by Paul and Bill Harwood, Harwood Grains was partly established due to poor grain prices. By dehulling oats, Bill was able to gain a better price for his grain, while increasing digestibility, palatability and quality of protein in oats.

Made for farmers, from farmers - as farmers Paul and Bill know what is takes to care for animals and how to run a profitable farm.

Since then, Harwood Grains has expanded. Now, with over 10 years of experience in stockfeed manufacturing, we can offer a comprehensive range of feeds for cattle, sheep, chickens, pigs, goats, alpacas and horses. All Harwood Grains feeds are made on-site at our Ballarat location and can be purchased from any of our approved resellers. Reseller enquiries are also welcome.

We also operate Skipton Grain Receivals and provide grain storage on site for our customers.
