Stud Ram

Stud ram is formulated for the preparation of stud rams for show or sale and to improve condition and fertility in breeding rams. It is also a suitable supplement to provide pre-joining to help improve condition and fertility in breeding rams. It contains 15% (min) crude protein and 12MJ (min) of metabolisable energy to support condition.


Stud Ram is a highly palatable pellet designed to improve appetite and condition in rams. Condition is further boosted by the addition of rumen bypass fats which improves nutrient digestibility and further support body condition.


To help defend against urinary calculi (water belly), Stud Ram contains added acidifying agents. It also contains natural plant antioxidants to support immune health and aid in combating gut pathogens (such as Salmonella and E. coli) and coccidiosis to improve health and performance.


Stud Ram also contains a rumen buffer to help prevent rumen acidosis (grain poisoning).

  • Feeding Directions

    • Introduce Stud Ram at 250g per 50kg liveweight on day one. Increase by 100g every three days to a maximum of 1kg per 50kg liveweight per day for sheep.
    • Stud Ram is suitable for feeding in conjunction with unlimited hay, pasture, or other forage.
    • Offer free-choice access to fresh, clean water at all times.
    • Keep feeders clean to reduce risk of spoilage.
    • Feeders should be set at throat height to reduce wastage.
    • Place feed and water sources away from each other to keep water clean.
