Lamb Starter is formulated to accelerate rumen development and optimise early growth performance in pre- and post-weaned lambs.
The combination of fermentable carbohydrates and high-quality true protein supports microbial colonisation and rumen papillae development, improving long-term feed efficiency.
Lamb Starter is a highly palatable ration that aids in transitioning lambs from milk to pellets and improves the conversion of feed into weight gain. It also contains natural plant antioxidants to support immune health and aid in combating gut pathogens (such as Salmonella and E. coli) and coccidiosis to improve health and performance.
Added rumen buffer assists with rumen pH stability during early grain introduction, helping to reduce acidosis risk.

Feeding Directions
- Suitable from 4 weeks of age but can be offered to lambs earlier.
- Lambs under 4 weeks of age should be fed a sheep-specific milk replacement.
- Transition Lambs from milk replacer to Lamb Starter and hay/pasture should be done gradually over at least 2 weeks.
- Start at 0.25kg per 50kg liveweight. Increase by 0.1kg every 3 days to a maximum of 1kg per 50kg liveweight.
- Feeders should be set at throat height to reduce wastage.
- Feed alongside quality hay or pasture.
- Provide fresh, clean water at all times.
