Controlled NSC
With controlled sugar and starch (NSC) levels, Equine Plus supports metabolic health. Research has shown that excessive NSC intake in mares may be associated with an increased risk of Developmental Orthopaedic Disease (DOD) in offspring, making controlled energy sources essential during gestation and lactation.
Reproducing and growing horses are particularly susceptible to digestive challenges, including gastric ulcers and hindgut acidosis. To support gastrointestinal health, Equine Plus includes our scientifically formulated GastroPak. This blend contains high-quality natural ingredients, including a plant-derived marine mineral buffer and Diamond V XPC postbiotics, to help maintain gut integrity and microbial balance.

- Your horse should receive a minimum of 1% of their body weight in quality forage such as hay, pasture and/or chaff.
- Make changes in your horse’s diet gradually over at least a two-week period.
- Be sure to always have fresh and clean water available to your horse.
